Putting garlic directly on a plantar wart can get rid of it, says Andrea Murray, a certified reflexologist and herbalist in Portland, Maine.
Mash a clove of garlic into pulp. Before you go to bed, put the pulp directly on the wart and cover it with a small adhesive bandage, then with a sock. in the morning, remove the bandage and clean the area. "Within a few days, you should notice the wart shrinking, and after 10 days to 2 weeks, it should be gone," says Murray. If the wart doesn't go away within 2 to 4 weeks discontinue the treatment.
